2024-09-11 07:58:42 +0000 UTCI see a lot of others have commented about it already but checking out NMIXX on Tiny Desk Korea is WORTH IT! They sing with no in-ears and from what I could tell, there weren’t any special effects done to their voices so it seems pretty raw.

It's particularly impressive when you consider that it's using a live band playing a different genre than the original, no in-ears, live singing, one take, and using mics that the show says doesn't allow for post-processing - and before an audience in the library they're performing at. They sing 5 of their songs with a band and there is basically no effects on their voices, it's quite raw and just beautiful to watch.
