Jordbert nearing completion, cursed AI upscales

Greetings!

Been putting in a ton of hours on the Killers animation sequel! It's getting really close. I'm so damn grateful for the support you guys are providing, it feels great to finally go hard on all the projects I want to do. In case you're wondering, the stuff will be converted from grayscale to color, I've got a really fast means of swapping colors. I would LOVE to be able to debut this thing at the art contest awards livestream.

Through an android emulator, I've been able to use an AI upscaler called Remini to produce some seriously spooky stuff. I had been looking for an AI upscaler that specifically 'hallucinates' detail onto the subject instead of just upscaling; I can't get enough of the uncanny clarity it provides.

In addition to general upscales (i.e. the punishment haircut picture from the latest podcast), I've been experimenting with the AI to see how it reacts to different pictures. I started photoshopping photos by enlarging certain parts, adding creases, swapping in stuff from other pics, and then deliberately blurred the entire picture to encourage more AI predictions/hallucinations. The pics you see here are a few of the results. It's really fun to play with.

For me, this is more powerful than any Photoshop I could do, purely because it adds so much high resolution, fleshy human details. A tooth with the smear tool ran over it becomes an elongated canine, little dark strokes around the mouth and eyes become angry expressions, it's mind-blowing.
