Friends

Hello everyone. Since Cobra's passing, I've been slowly picking up the pieces on this end as I figure out how I will be proceeding with my content. I'm sure my intentions will become more apparent on the channel, but I thought it would be nice to share my initial thoughts here.

I was not ready for Cobra to pass away. Mentally, I was on track to gradually shift away from covering him, with this year being focused on finishing any remaining ideas I had for him. Unfortunately it is now incredibly difficult for me to even look at his old videos without thinking about how horrifying it is that he died alone, incapable of asking for help. In hindsight, his time in the trailer was all pretty grim.

I have been working on an animation that's kind of a funny, lighthearted send off for Cobra that hopefully will bring some closure to people. After that, I honestly don't know if I can bring myself to cover any more topics. I had several ideas for additional episodes, but it's just not the same knowing how Cobra's story ended.

What the hell is next?
I know a lot of people have expressed that they will continue to watch my content, whether or not it's Cobra related. Well, lol I have some news that might help ease the transition... me and Chauncey are going to work together again. We're recording this Saturday. We're going to cover other internet persons of interest, in addition to all the bizarre local access/90's era TV oddities that we're both into.

This is the most concrete thing I can offer in terms of the future of the channel. I absolutely have other projects I want to get into, but they're admittedly far more nebulous and hard to give an ETA on.

Ulillillia
I am very tempted to do a series on Ulillillia. I absolutely adore him, particularly his old website where he meticulously detailed his life, quirks, fears, goals, etc. For those who haven't heard of Uli, he is a fascinating person... easily somewhere on the spectrum with crippling OCD, except he has used his positive attitude and love of numbers of overcome his problems. Kind of like with CWC's comics, Uli's website is an incredible look into how his brain works. CWC
If you can believe it, I was sharing an image from a CWC podcast animation with Frank when the news about Cobra started to come out. I'm still interested in this, but for the time being I feel kinda weird about it, at least compared to Uli. I am pretty sure I will feel more optimistic about this soon. Chris has arguably been put out to pasture and actually seems to be living a private life now (despite the insanity at the end), which is what I wanted Cobra to eventually have.
