New team member update
Added 2022-07-17 01:52:26 +0000 UTCI am proud to announce that our good friend Miyuto is joining our team. In my opinion, he is the best Arcade player that currently plays this game in the west.
As we are moving forward with the 4 key charts for Extreme and below. He will be in charge of play testing the Extreme charts all our charters make to make sure it is not awkward for 4 key players. Because even if he is able to achieve stuff like this, he is no ordinary player and knows the difference between fun and not fun.
Here is my belief, if it is fun for 4 key players, it is also fun for 8 key players. However not the case vice versa so this will take our future updates to the next level!
I will also be hammering into our charters who have charted for controller players all their life, to start pay focus to how vanilla extreme or below is charted. It seems to follow the pattern of
1: Song is fairly doable most of the entire length, even for players below the skill level.
2: There are specific sections (usually 1-3 areas) when it becomes difficult
By trying our best to follow this formula, this will allow players to enjoy custom songs in the extreme and below levels even if they are not as ready yet for them and allows them to still make it to the end of the song and feel content.
ExEx is strictly for seasoned veteran players who play with all 8 keys so stay away from this level if you do not want your spirits to be crushed :) it is for our fellow passionate diva friends to enjoy.
