Becky definitely cares, but she's extremely Walky-coded and I can see how Jennifer, from experience, might expect her to forget to stay on top of things even if she does care.

It's especially unfair given what we know that no one else does - that Dorothy chose to tell Becky first about turning down Yale (and explicitly said that the reason was unwillingness to exploit Becky's personal trauma for clout), and that she asked Becky not to tell anyone, even Joyce.
