2024-02-05 13:43:43 +0000 UTCNo, it's really healthy that Joe is pointing out that Joyce's behavior is hurting him, even as she quickly blames herself for it. And it's good that Joyce defends that behavior with a part of her personality that is STILL TRUE, not the part she tried/is trying to get rid of. This problem isn't a past trauma that they need to move past, it's a present incompatibility that they need to carefully work through, and the sooner it's acknowledged as such, the better.
