2024-08-07 04:08:36 +0000 UTC1. A case in which "show, don't tell" is controverted to good effect—the overhead of setting up a flashback of getting Amber settled would not have been worth it. With the showing of hungover Booster in their own bed, we're back to the usual order of things. 2. They put Amber to bed, but we saw Amazi-Girl waking up annoyed with the consequences of the night before. The personality change might complicate Dorothy and Walky "checking on Amber". 3. We seem to be making the rounds of the partiers waking up, answering where-and-with-whom. Some more of these wake-ups will have little stories attached, and I'm mildly interested to see how our author interleaves those stories with the apparent need to complete the rounds.

They really are losing themselves in each other to the point of being late (though Walky might also be processing other things from last night). Good on Booster for keeping them focused (and keeping the sexiles from continuing). I guess they also are glad Amber’s safe.
