2024-09-06 06:15:23 +0000 UTCSarah’s Agreeability metric did suddenly increase by at least a standard deviation. Why? Theories: 1- she just decided being a sourpuss isn’t getting her where she wants to go and will fake it until she makes it being sweeter. 2- she had an absolutely excellent session with Little Jacob that’s leaving her all relaxed and happy 3- She saw Lucy have Jacob basically fall into her lap after a few minutes just by being a cinnamon roll, and wants to try being a cinnamon roll too. Except that’s basically Lucy being her genuine self. There’s nothing wrong with rhubarb, or maybe adding some of her natural strawberries to her natural rhubarb. Sarah got a raw deal when her roommate had a drug addiction meltdown and Sarah got tagged as being a narc for reasonably asking for help from the school for something no freshman is equipped to help with. My take on Sarah’s arc is making peace with her grumpy side that reasonably feels bitter about the various injustices in life with being totally salty about it. If she’s overcompensating with strawberries and sweetness now as she experiments with the right ratio, so be it, she’s only a sophomore. And if Lucy and Jacob are sweeter and more well adjusted overall overall, well how nice for them that their life circumstances and personalities allowed that by comparison.
