I assume that (a) she’s accepted that her ex isn’t coming back, and revised her plans accordingly, and (b) she still regards Lucy as mostly harmless — an inconvenience at worst, not a threat or an insult. Sarah bagging the dean’s son, on the other hand, is an offence against nature.
