So I thought it'd be funny if Walky took off for Dorothy Sex while discarding clothing along the way, leaving a trail of items. And then ... I tried to acknowledge it, in dialogue! Tried to weave dealing with this practically into the conversation.
Nah. It's better unremarked upon.
SECOND TRY:
Walky's left clothing unremarked upon, moved immediately on to the matters at hand. But Joyce is a little too genre savvy here. She's basically spelling out the likely plot! And it's not clever, it's just taking the air out of the tires.
Plus, like, I'm missing the obvious opportunity to FINALLY address what happened Joyce's phone vis-a-vis various downshirt photos, which we've been left hanging on for a few months. And so:
And then a less genre-savvy interaction between Joyce and Jennifer, which makes more character sense and is also funnier.
the only real loss was losing a strip titled "dorothy-panky"
