Schedule & Other Updates
Added 2024-09-21 13:05:58 +0000 UTCHello, guys! Book 1 of The Martial God is almost about to finish, which will make my backlog run out. Since we're also coming down from Rising Stars, it's about time for a slower but steadier update rate.
Not by much, don't worry.
We've been getting 4x Chapters/Week all this time, but from now on we're going to get 3x Chapters/Week. Just 1 chapter less.
I think that'll continue for most of Book 2โs serialization, unless I give too much focus on this other project I've been working on (a very side project, just writing when I'm bored). I'll post that in a couple of days too, to get you guy's thoughts on that. For a sneak-peak, its called Barbarian Ascension.
That side, this is the upload dates I've decided: Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
I am slightly conflicted about the time, though. These days I've been posting at 1 AM Central Time (just google it, you'll get your local time), but before that I was posting at 11 AM central, 14 hour gap. Which one do you guys prefer?
Whatever wins in this vote, Chapter 33 will drop at that time on 23rd Sept. As for the new story, it might take time.

Oops, sorry! ๐ I just changed the name for curiousity's sake, as I honestly wanted to put "The Heavenly Demon" as the initial title. I'll change it back to "The Martial God" soon, by Monday I think. Happy reading!

And to inform you that I had a terrible time finding the story in search on royal road after you renamed it. I nearly gave up on it, before I finally thought to search for author name.

2024-11-09 06:18:53 +0000 UTCOops forgot to reply to you. No worries, I am not focusing on this new story anytime soon, it's just a side distraction project, keeps the creativity running. I started serializing The Martial God after writing 110k words, I'm planning to do at least 60k for the new one first, so it's not serializing in a month or two. Although I do plan to release the first few chapters here soon to get an initial impression from y'all. And thank you for the same universe suggestion! I think I can work something with that. Give it a try when it comes out!

2024-09-26 18:59:05 +0000 UTCPost at whatever time of day is convenient for you as far as I am concerned. About the different story, it seems a bit early to me to do something completely different. If you divide 3 chapters per week on 2 stories, you end up with only 1,5 chapters per week per story. Not good for your visibility. I think many other authors write sidestories in the same universe, if they want something a bit different. I found this story, because it still is on rising stars.
